The type of information we collect

  • Third-party systems. We receive data about your business from third-parties. This includes sub-contractors when they are submitting your information to secure a contract. We also use third-party software, ElectraLink and credit referencing agencies, to understand your energy usage and credit rating.

What we do with your information

The data we collect helps us to improve our service. Specifically, the information we collect allows us to:

We will share relevant information with our supplier panel in order to achieve accurate prices. We will also share updates with suppliers, analytics software and sub-brokers/ sub-contractors on the progress of your application. If we have a legal obligation to share your information with appropriate authorities we would comply with this request. We store your data on our CRM for as long as you are a potential or current customer.

We record your information on our CRM system. This is securely stored in the cloud and follows our data protection policy. We retain your information. Our website is hosted in the UK and our CRM data is also stored within the UK.

Your rights

We will inform you that we are collecting information when you access our website. You are entitled to leave our website, at which point we will stop collecting information. When you meet, call or complete an enquiry form on our website you have the right to request this information is not recorded in our CRM system. If we need to share your information to with a third-party (for instance, to obtain a quote) we will inform you in advance. If you decide not to proceed we will not share your information with any third-party.

You also have the right to request a copy of the data we hold for you and your organisation. You can make an information request submission by emailing enquiries@eyebrightutilities.co.uk. You have the right to request that your data is amended or deleted from our CRM system. You have the right to object to processing of personal data and the right to request that your data is sent to you or another business.

We will respond within one month of any request being made.
